Indoor air quality testing for homes, childcare centres and workplaces.
We measure what is in the air you breathe indoors, explain what the numbers mean for health, and help you fix what matters. Available in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Why test
Indoor air carries outdoor pollution plus everything produced inside: cooking, heating, furnishings, cleaning products, damp and the people in the room. Most of it can’t be seen or smelled. Damp and mould are linked with respiratory and asthma symptoms, gas cooking adds nitrogen dioxide, and poorly ventilated rooms build up carbon dioxide, which is a useful sign that fresh air isn’t getting in. The evidence is set out, with references, on our Air page.
What we measure
Carbon dioxide (CO2)
A practical indicator of whether each room is getting enough fresh air, especially bedrooms and classrooms.
Fine particles (PM2.5)
From cooking, heaters, traffic and smoke. Compared against World Health Organization guidelines.
Volatile organic compounds
Total VOCs and formaldehyde from furniture, finishes, renovations and household products.
Nitrogen dioxide
Where there is gas cooking or heating.
Temperature and humidity
Logged over several days to find rooms that are too dry, too damp, or at risk of condensation.
Moisture and mould
A visual and instrument inspection for damp, leaks and mould risk.
After the readings
You receive a plain-language report with recommendations ranked by likely benefit, cost and effort, from simple changes in how rooms are used to ventilation, range hoods, filtration and fixing sources of moisture. We also tell you when a popular fix isn’t worth the money. Once changes are made, we can measure again.
For childcare centres and schools, workplaces and homes in Melbourne, we tailor the scope to the space and the people in it.
